You will produce high-quality content that supports DNV GL's strategic goals, thought leadership ambitions and our vision of making the world safer, smarter and greener. You will also give strategic communications advice in an environment that includes globally recognized experts within a wide range of technical and business disciplines. You will be part of DNV GL's Group Communications team, consisting of highly competent professionals from ten different countries. Main tasks:

  • Develop English content in the form of articles, web content, blogs, adverts, presentations and content for corporate publications
  • Write speeches, scripts and presentations (Norwegian and English) for C-level executives
  • Be responsible for editorial content in Group publications/channels, including the Annual Report, and manage or support Group communications and branding projects

Position qualifications:

  • You have completed a university degree, Bachelor or Master in journalism, political science, communications, content marketing, or similar
  • You have a minimum of 4 years of professional work experience as speech writer, journalist, PR consultant, communications advisor, or similar
  • You have excellent writing skills in Norwegian (native language or bilingual)
  • We can rely on your excellent business-English language skills, both written and oral
  • You make great presentations and are comfortable with using web content management systems, and other publication and monitoring tools
  • Maritime and energy industry knowledge is beneficial but not a requirement
  • You are a highly efficient professional who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, on time and under stress
  • You enjoy doing thorough research to gather facts. Crafting engaging messages, tuned to the audience, context and sender, is second nature for you
  • You are creative and reliable with a high personal commitment
  • You are an independent self-starter and excellent networker with strong communication skills and intercultural competence
  • You are used to managing projects and coordinating with external agencies
  • You are flexible and able to travel when and as required
