Target groups in many parts of the B2B segment and a wide-ranging product portfolio meant that optimising navigation and user-friendliness has been extremely important. Part of the project involved designing a new, shared structure and sitemap. The focus of the website has been on how customers perceive the services rather than on how the company is organised internally.

“We chose Design Container as our partner for the development of our new website because they had put a great deal of work into understanding who we were as a client and ensuring that the solution was exactly what we wanted. Throughout the project they have been very flexible and solution-orientated. They managed to deliver a high-quality solution despite a tight deadline. Thanks to their robust efforts, we managed to go live with the new website on the same day as we launched our new joint brand – something that was very well received internally at GlobalConnect,” says Katarina Ingdahl, marketing director in GlobalConnect.

The solution is based on WordPress and VUE as the front-end language. The webpages are fully integrated with the Spin CRM system and databases for company name searches.

We are proud of the fact that GlobalConnect chose us to develop their technical solution. Our developers have worked extremely well with internal resources at GlobalConnect throughout the process which has resulted in a smooth run-up to the launch. We will be working continuously on the solution and will gradually be adding more features, says Martin Fjogstad, project manager at Design Container.

In September 2018, fibre and technology companies Broadnet Norway and GlobalConnect Denmark merged. On 6 June 2019, the two companies became GlobalConnect. GlobalConnect is a supplier of fibre-based data communication and data centres in Northern Europe.

On this project, Design Container has cooperated with Danish agency Pravda, Broadnet Norway and Global Connect in Denmark.
